Where can I find information about meningococcal disease and do you have an information sheet?

Information about meningococcal disease is provided and published by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. To review their informational flyer, please click here.

Do you offer scholarships?

Unfortunately, no. We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes we do! If you have 5 or more campers, we can offer $20 off per camper. If you have 10 or more campers we can offer $30 off per camper.

The only request we have is to send all applications in the mail together in one packet or call our office for group applications. This helps us allocate all the discounts appropriately, so we do not miss anyone. We cannot offer the discount if group packets do not come in together.

How do I register using a camp voucher or credit?

If you received a voucher or camp credit for a missed or postponed camp, please call our office at 508.549.0997 to register for the upcoming camp season. You will need to speak to our office who will be able to look up and apply the voucher.

What are the differences between overnight, extended day, and day camp options?

For locations with Overnight options: The overnight option includes a 30 plus hour program, all meals, housing, and basketball activities. The extended day option (typically from 9AM-9PM.) includes a 30 hour plus program, lunch, dinner, and basketball activities.

For locations with Day options only: The day camp option (typically 9AM-3PM) includes 25 plus hour program with an hour break for lunch.  Camper can bring there own food and drink, or purchase snacks and pizza at the camp store.

When will I receive my registration packet?

Registration packets will be emailed out the first week in May. Registration packets include information on when to arrive to camp, what to bring, directions, health forms, etc.  Please call our office if you have questions about health forms and registration packets at 508.549.0997.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

If you need to cancel for any reason up until 24 hours prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid good through the following year that is transferable to any immediate family member and may be used for any sport. Participants who DO NOT attend their registered session (no-shows for any reason) or who do not contact USSC to cancel at least 24 hours prior to camp check-in will not receive a voucher or refund. Cash refunds are given only if Cancellation Protection was purchased at the time of registration and the cancellation is made before your balance due date (see terms below).

If BEHN or USSC cancels your child's camp due to COVID-related facility closures, government mandates or other circumstances, you will automatically be issued a credit voucher for your tuition fees paid which can be applied to any US Sports Camp through the following year and used by any immediate family member.

These policies are in place to account for camp fees associated with each registration that are made in advance of the program. Camper waives any and all damages that may otherwise arise out of any camp cancellation and agrees to accept as liquidated damages said registration fees.

What is the optional Cancellation Protection fee?

BEHN and US Sports Camps offers our camp families Cancellation Protection for $50 per session, due at the time of registration. Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of your camp tuition fees paid to date if you cancel for any reason before your final payment date (the first day of the month prior to the month of your camp start date. i.e. final pay date is May 1st if your camp date begins in the month of June). Please note: $50 Cancellation Protection and Registration Fee are non-refundable.

With Cancellation Protection, if you cancel after your final payment due date and at least 24 hours prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher good through the following year that is transferable to any immediate family member and may be used for any sport.

Are you hiring any coaches for your camps?

If you have are interested in working at Behn Basketball, please email your resume to behncamp@gmail.com and we will be happy to review your information. Likewise you may call our office at 508.549.0997.

If my son/daughter is attending an Overnight Camp, what will the dorm arrangements be like?

When a camper signs up for an overnight camp, they are placed in a typical college dormitory in a double room. We do our best to accomodate all roommate requests although room size and configuration sometimes determine the final outcome.  If that cannot be accommodated, or you do not have a specific request, you will be placed with another camper your same age. Each overnight camp is monitored and supervised in the dorms by our camp staff.

Is transportation to and from the camp available?

Transportation to and from camp locations is not available.

Do you have services for early drop-off or late pick-up?

We do not offer early drop-off or late pick up services.

Are the basketball camps a good fit for all levels of players? How will they be broken up on the court?

Our basketball camps welcome all ability levels unless otherwise indicated. On the first day of camp, campers will be evaluated and then placed into groups according to their age and ability. Experienced and non-experienced campers alike can enjoy and thrive at Behn Basketball Camps.
