Behn Basketball Camp is operating a BOYS ONLY camp at Nashoba Brooks School this summer in Concord to coincide with a GIRLS ONLY camp in Acton the same week. We love our week in Concord and can't wait to get to work. Hope you join us this summer!

The largest and most successful basketball camp in New England, Behn Basketball has grown throughout Eastern Massachusetts for the past 29 years with a reputation of excellent teaching focused on fundamentals. Our experienced coaches create an intense yet comfortable atmosphere that encourages learning and development. The goal is for each player to leave camp with improved skills, increased confidence, and acquired knowledge on how to practice and succeed. And of course we have fun too!

Nashoba Brooks is an independ preschool, lower school and middle school located in Concord, MA. Their beautiful 30 acre campus includes large athletic fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, woods with nature trails, and ponds. Campus Highlights: 2 gyms, 2 science centers, dining commons, library with an inviting fireplace, and a dedicated arts space with studios for the visual arts, music classrooms, and an auditorium with a performance stage.
Meet your coaching staff
Camp Director
Connor Moroney
Connor currently works at Callahan Elementary School in Norwood as Physical Education & Wellness Teacher.
Connor is responsible for many things at Callahan. He designs, plans, and implements physical education/wellness lessons based on National Standards. He consistently address the needs of individuals students and implemenst and manages Field Day activities for Grades 1-5.
Connor also works with the Dana Barros Basketball Club in Stoughton where he is the Assist Manager in court coordination. He oversees the property by directing staff to maintain clean playing surfaces, restrooms and trash removal.
Read Full BioConnor graduated from UNH with a degree in Health and Physical Education. During his time at UNH he won awards for Outstanding Future Professional and the Joyce Hiller Scholarship Award for Leadership.
While at school, he:
Organized Adaptive PE activities for a General PE group of 50+ 6th Grade Students
Coordinated Adaptive PE lessons for adults with cognitive & physical challenges, aged 22-40
Guided small groups through physical and mental tasks
Developed personal relationships through individual instruction
Connor has previously served a summer camp counselor at the YMCS in Middleboro:
Created positive camper experience through group bonding activities
and by building interactive environments
Demonstrated a consistent level of productivity as well as an energetic personality
Check-in: Monday morning 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM. Any outstanding forms are due online before this time.
Hours: Full-day camps run from 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. There is a brief awards ceremony on Friday at 2:30.
Lunch: No food or snacks available for purchase. Please pack a snack and lunch and brings a water bottle!
What to Bring: Campers should wear comfortable clothing (shorts & a T-shirt), socks, sneakers, and basketball (name on ball please!). Please pack a snack and lunch and brings a water bottle!

My son has been coming to Behn camps for a number of years. I'll never forget his first experience at your camp (and I'm sure he will not either). Every day after camp, he would come home, wouldn't even come in the house, and begin shooting basketball. When dinner was ready, he would come in and head back out immediately. I watched as he played until it was too dark out and he had to stop. He continued this the rest of the week (and a good part of the remainder of the summer). On Friday, you held your award ceremony. James won the Most Improved Player that year. I'm sharing this story because I believe your camp has had a tremendous impact on him. He has set his goals to playing basketball at BC, has already got himself a BC shirt and there is no doubt in my mind, that if he set his mind to it, this will be. He's a hard worker and very motivated. But the point is, whether he makes it to BC or not is immaterial because the lessons he has learned are invaluable. I'm sharing this story because I believe your camp has had a tremendous impact on my son. The things you've taught and modeled at Behn Camp - skills, goal setting and positive reinforcement have really helped him as a player, student, and individual. Your camp serves as a wonderful inspiration to James. He's looking forward to his summer at Concord!
